Will Hades have a sequel? Well yeah! Hades, a beloved roguelike from Supergiant Games, is releasing its sequel. Recently the Game Awards 2022 event was held in Los Angeles, U.S., game developer Supergiant Games revealed its upcoming title. The 2020 release of the company’s well-liked action role-playing game Hades’ sequel is presently under development, according to the game producer. The Game Awards host, Geoff Keighley, unveiled the trailer for the new Hades 2 Game and announced that it will be launched in 2023.

The forthcoming game will, like its forerunner, be playable early on, according to Supergiant Games‘ official YouTube account. Gamers can add the game to their wishlists from now on Steam and the Epic Games Store before it launches for PC users. Supergiant anticipates releasing the game on consoles as well.
Hades 2 Protagonist
Witchcraft and magic are likely to take center stage in Hades 2. According to the Games’ page description, it is based on the Underworld Greek myth. Users are required to participate in the game as Melinoe, a figure who doubles as the underworld empress. Zagreus was the main character of the first Hades video game. Supergiant has highlighted Melinoe’s relationship with Zagreus.

Hades 2 will have narrated conversations, dynamic animations, action-focused Hades gameplay, and a soundtrack comparable to the first game. Various characters will also appear in the next title. The first Hades game won a BAFTA, appearing on many best-of-the-year lists. Supergiant has said that in Hades 2, players must engage in combat employing dark sorcery outside the underworld as they face off against the evil Titan of time in an action-packed, infinitely addicting experience.
