The ending of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has an epic showdown in the quantum realm where a fleeing Kang has to face the wrath of Lang – who has grown exponentially – along with Wasp and his daughter Cassie, who it turns out is suited as well. Coming to their aid are entire civilizations from the quantum realm who have been oppressed and wiped out by Kang. The last few moments see that while Scott is able to dismantle the energy core that would allow Kang to escape and an army of ants break through Kang’s shield to take him down, Kang makes a last-ditch attempt at escaping through a portal that Cassie has created. However, the combined efforts of Scott and Hope stop him in his path. In the final moments, they manage to destroy the Multiverse Core by throwing Pym particles at it. Kang is sucked into the probability field of the energy source, supposedly dying, and the portal back to Earth is closed.
